How To Define Your Personal Style

Defining your personal style can be daunting, but it is ultimately a rewarding and empowering process. Your style is a reflection of who you are and the message you want to convey to the world. The good news is that there are no rules when it comes to personal style - it's all about being authentic and true to yourself.

Start by finding inspiration in the things you already love - your favorite colors, patterns, and fabrics. Look at your favorite fashion icons, and now, style influencers, but don't be afraid to put your own spin on their looks. Experiment with different pieces and outfits until you find what feels most comfortable and confident.

It can also be helpful to seek inspiration from fashion and style icons, whether it be through social media or magazines. However, it is important to remember to stay true to yourself and not to feel pressure to conform to trends or popular styles if they don't align with your body type or personal aesthetic.

Next, consider your lifestyle and the events that you typically attend. For example, if you work in a corporate office, your personal style may lean towards classic, tailored pieces. On the other hand, if you work in a creative field, your personal style might reflect a more eclectic and unique aesthetic.

Remember that your personal style is not just limited to clothing - it also includes accessories, hair and makeup. Embrace your unique features and find ways to accentuate them through your style.

Most importantly, don't be afraid to take risks and step out of your comfort zone. Your style should evolve and grow with you, and it's okay to make mistakes along the way. Keep an open mind and have fun with it!

You may ask the question of why would one want to have a personal style? One, it makes shopping a lot easier! Knowing that you can walk into a store or shop online and know exactly what type of pieces that you're looking for.

Below are some of my fashion favorites that own their styles! Although, I may not particular wear everything that they wear, it works for them, and make great for inspiration when I'm styling clients!
